Personal Care Services (MPW)
Personal care services refer to those daily activities that people would often rather perform alone but cannot be managed independently. We perform these services with the utmost sensitivity and respect for the individual. They include:
- Assisting with clothing selection and dressing
- Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
- Bathing and helping with daily hygiene needs
- Offering medication reminders
- Preparing light meals
Homemaking Services (MPW)
For those dealing with disabilities, it often becomes more difficult to accomplish tasks that keep their home neat, safe, and enjoyable. Our staff offers and helps teach:
Bed-making and changing of linens
- Food expiration checks
- Grocery list preparation
- Laundry assistance
- Light housekeeping
Personal Assistance (Support for Community Living)
This assistance is designed to enable the client to accomplish tasks that the client normally would do for himself or herself if they did not have a disability. This includes:
- Assisting in managing medical care (i.e. appointments and accompanying)
- Hands-on assistance
- Reminding, observing, guiding, or training a participant in activities of daily living
- Reminding, observing, guiding, or training a participant in independent activities of daily living
- Transportation, which is not otherwise available under the Medicaid program to access community services, activities, and appointments
Community Living Support (MPW)
We help facilitate independence and promote integration into the community by:
- Assisting with socialization, relationship building, leisure choices, community activities, and therapeutic goals
- Helping with routine household tasks, activities of daily living, and personal hygiene
- Medication management
- Shopping and money management
